why would a weight lifter want to eat less? you need to boost your protein intake with good quality foods, chicken/turkey breast is a good one, cottage cheese is a great low-fat source of protein. try to avoid any 'white carbs' such as white bread, pasta etc. and avoid eating carbs after 7PM. depending on your workload i would suggest an egg-white omelette with mushrooms and whatever other veg you want, for breakfast. a chicken/turkey breast burger for lunch, and some oily fish with steamed greens for dinner. use google to find a good 'recovery shake' to drink after you have finished a weight session. and between meals you could snack on some fruit/nuts and a tub of cottage cheese. remember, if you want to gain muscle you need to eat MORE! not less. your body will not produce muscle without an adequate intake of protein, also if you arent a big eater, you could subsidize your diet with protein shakes. musashi makes some great ones. Creatine also helps the process along.

Difference in male and female wight lifting is that female wight lifters do not workout for increasing wight.. They do for fitness and shape. So they should take care of hydration.
Juices are good for them and protein rich foods as well.
