Description:
No meal is complete without veggies, my mom always says. This one's quick and easy to make, and can be prepared ahead of time. It even tastes better the second day.
Other: Ingredients:
Time:
Couple hours
Difficulty:
Easy
Serving Size:
Feeds 4 hungry guys
4 cups broccoli florets (small pieces)
1/2 lb. of bacon
1/2 cup apple, diced (about 1 med)
1/4 cup red onion, diced
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1 1/2 cup mayonnaise
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar (more or less to taste)
Preparation:
Cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and then crumble. Cut the brocoli into bite size chunks, chop onions and apple.
Instructions:
Toss together the apple, onion, raisins, sunflower seeds and bacon. Add to the broccoli in a large bowl. Mix the mayonnaise and lemon juice with the sugar. Toss to coat.
