5 large yams- boiled til tender , peeled and refrigerated
sauce:
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tbls butter
1 tbls orange zest
2 tbls dark corn syrup
2 tbls cornstarch
Preparation:
cook yams, peel and slice and place in 13x9 pan
Instructions:
mix all sauce ingredients together in a sauce pan ( I usually double the sauce recipe) bring to a boil and thicken. pour over yams and bake 30 to 40 minutes until hot
