Swiss Steak

Ingredients

1 large steak of your choice, cut into 1 inch wide strips
1 lg can crushed tomatoes
baby carrots cut lengthwise (optional)
salt and pepper
1/4 small onion chopped
olive oil
1/2 small green pepper chopped
1 cup flour

Directions

Take steak strips and coat in flour.
Meanwhile heat oil in large skillet til hot.
Add floured steak and cook til browned.
Add onion and pepper cook 2 minutes more, then add tomatoes and cover and simmer til steak is tender 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Serve with mashed potatoes
