Hummus

Ingredients

15 oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
3 to 4 tbls sesame butter (tahini)
2 cloves garlic , peeled
juice of one lemon
salt and pepper to taste

(optional ingredients)
1 scallion finely chopped
1 tbls chopped fresh parsley
dash of olive oil

Directions

Blend all ingredients in a food processor or blender.
Use as a sandwich spread or dip
