Ginger Snap Peach Crisp

2 cans sliced yellow cling peaches in heavy syrup
1 1/2 cups coarsely crushed gingersnaps
1/4 cup butter softened
1/3 cup sliced almonds
Drain fruit and arrange in an 8x8 greased baking dish.
Mix together cookie crumbs and butter, stir in nuts.
Sprinkle evenly over fruit.
Bake at 350F for 20 minutes. serve warm with vanilla ice cream
