Easy Homemade Granola

Ingredients

1 cup hulled sunflower seeds
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup almonds
3 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup flour
1/2 brown sugar
5 tbls veg oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbl vanilla
3 to 4 tbls natural maple syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 dried fruit

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F
In a skillet containing no oil or liquid combine seeds and nuts.
Heat over a low flame stirring frequently, until you smell a toasty aroma. Do not let burn.

In a large bowl, combine toasted seeds and nuts with remaining ingredients, except dried fruit.
Spread the mixture onto 2 cookie sheets and bake for 20 minutes or until golden, turning often.
Remove from oven and leave on pan while cooling.
Add dried fruit to granola and stir.
Store in airtight container.
