Chocolate Covered Strawberries

This simple dessert is great after an intimate dinner.

Ingredients

1 quart Strawberries, fresh
8 ounces sweet dark baking chocolate
1 1/2 Tablespoons Grand Marnier (optional)

Directions

Rinse the strawberries. Leave the stems on. Pat dry with cheesecloth or paper towel.
Set aside.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Whisk in the Grand Marnier if used.
Dip each strawberry in the chocolate. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
Place on a sheet of wax paper. Allow to cool well before serving.
