Carmel filled chocolate cookies (Rolo Cookies)

2 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter softened
2 tsps vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
48 rolo camel candies
2 tbls sugar to dip cookie in
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and blend well.
In a large bowl beat sugars and butter til fluffy.
Add vanilla and eggs and beat well.
Add flour mixture, beat til blended.
Stir in nuts.
Take one rolo candy and shape dough around it til covered completely.
Press one side of cookie ball into sugar and place sugar side up on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375F for 7 to 10 minutes or until slightly cracked looking.
