| Ingredients 3 cups fresh blueberries 1/2 cup onion, chopped 1/2 cup sugar 1/3 cup cider vinegar 3 tablespoon raisins, golden 2 teaspoon ginger root, chopped and peeled 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed 1/4 teaspoon cloves, ground 1/8 teaspoon pepper, cayenne Directions Combine all the ingredients with 1 cup water in a large non aluminum saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Lower the heat and simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour, or until thick.
Cover and chill to use within 1 week, or freeze for up to 6 months. | |
