| Ingredients 1/3 cup fat-free evaporated milk 4 teaspoon cornstarch 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 cup dark rum 1/4 tsp salt 3 tablespoon yogurt-based spread, (such as Brummel & Brown) 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 7 small bananas, 4 1/2 cups, sliced Directions Combine evaporated milk and cornstarch in a 2-quart saucepan, stirring well with a whisk until cornstarch dissolves. Add sugar, rum, and salt; stir well.
Place saucepan over medium-high heat; bring to a boil. Cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Add spread and flavoring; stir well. Serve over banana. | |
