2 cups Grape Nuts cereal
3 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups light cream
Beat Eggs. Add Sugar, Vanilla & Salt. Add cream. Pour over grape nuts in casserole & place dish in a pan of water in 350 degree oven for 3/4 hour.
It's done when silver knife inserted comes out clean.
My mother got this recipe from Chef Ole at Crestview Country Club in the early sixties. This is one of my dessert favorites!
