Will canned cherries spoil if not covered?
I canned some quarts of cherries last night in a light syrup and noticed
this morning that so much of the liquid has been forced out of the jars
that the tops of some cherries are not covered.
Will they spoil?
Should I re-can them with less cherries in each jar?
Many thanks!

They'll be fine. They might discolor but as long as your seal is solid,
you should be fine. If I thought of it , I might invert the jars every
once in a while.
