Yesterday we put up seven vacuum bags of broccoli from the garden. Looks
like that will be the total crop for the winter garden broccoli.
Blanched for three minutes, chilled in ice water, drained, put on a bun
tray and frozen for two hours then bagged and vacuum sealed.

I think we've pretty much done all that there is to be done in the
preserving line for this winter. We still have about 20 big lemons to
juice but that doesn't take long once we get started.

Now I need to get out and prune the blackberry vines and encourage new
growth for the coming season. I think I will move into an apartment with
a very small patio in the near future. Nope, like what we have.

How y'all?
