You messed up perfectly good cherries by mixing those nasty strawberries
in with them? Does sound as though you were staying busy though.

We worked Saturday and Sunday on cleaning up the gardens, fertilizing
the fruit trees, which are in full bloom, cleaning up the blackberry bed
and fertilizing those babies. The blackberry bed has been dressed with a
layer of mulch, the vines pruned, and the weeds pulled.

We put twenty bags of composted cow manure under the fig tree, out to
the drip line. Figs love manure and thus make loverly figs for us.

Another twenty bags of composted cow manure are waiting to go into the
big garden. And we need to pick up another twenty bags for there also.

It's a balmy 63F here today with off and on thunder showers. Right now
the sun is out and I'm enjoying it. We're both recovering from the
weekend though. Wish I were as young and healthy as Miz Anne, she's
still blowing and going.
