it's berry season in the PNW!
Was thinking of George Shirley as I put by a couple batches of
Marionberry cut with Raspberry jelly. If you've got friends with
access to Marionberries, now's the time to ping them! regards to
all.... Kea Grilley

I've never even seen a Marionberry, my friends in Washington State only
grow fruit trees. How do they taste Kea?
My actual favorite southern berry is the Dewberry, Mimi in Livingston,
TX harvests those every year. Once we move back to Texas I'm going to be
spying on her to find her favorite spot to pick dewberries. <G>
Actually I'm hoping to have enough room in the backyard of whichever
house we buy to plant a Doyle blackberry, reputably the king of domestic
blackberries.
