Just add a bit of cayenne to each jar before filling and processing.
A few years back Gerry made some dilly beans in which the recipe
called for 1 teaspoon of cayenne. In her haste, she didn't read the
part where it said the cayenne was divided between 6 jars so each jar
got 1 teaspoon.
They were hot. Sometimes being very familiar with preserving routines
can lead to warmly received products.
