six quarts, the beans are tough
this season, we don't mind them a
bit crunchy so it's all good.

the beans were wax, green, and
flat green, steamed with onion for
15 minutes, cider vinegar, hot
water and sugar added, stirred
well, then added dark red kidney
beans. mixed again, packed and
processed as usual.

costs out of pocket this season
were for sugar, cider vinegar,
and the kidney beans. all the
seeds, lids, rings and jars are
from last season so we are doing
good now that this is the third
year. i think the jars have
paid for themselves. oh, the
onions were also grown here.

nice to finally get something
put up for a change.
