    Default almost 40 pound watermelon

We just picked it this afternoon. I will post links when I get the
    pictures up.

Barb, eat your heart out, it has a 1" rind. I'll have to see if I
have your recipe for pickles. Maybe preserves too.

Actually we found it under the vines. Next year the watermelon gets
its own big plot. I still have 4 or 5 more that are not that big
    (yet?).

I went to your web site and found your recipe for the pickles. I
happen to have the oils I need. If I run out I can get them here in
town. I need to check and see how much rind I have now. I may have
to eat some more of the melon to get enough. (Throw me in the briar
    patch.)
