Beef tenderloins at Park Market in Nanticoke PA are $3.99 per pound
every day. Unbelievable price.

Six inches of pork tenderloin forms one serving? We eat less meat per
serving than that

We don't eat beef at all However when we did, one supermarket small
steak...maybe 6 oz, no more than 8 oz, certainly served two of us, as
part of a meal. Same with pork chops...a large chop (no idea what they
weigh) will serve two of us...smaller one not so much.

Maybe the fact they *have* teeth is a plus.
You OTOH, deserve to return to the sad dryer you were originally lost
in. That is were all bad socks should go.

inches...

??? I generally consider 4 oz. to be "a (generous) serving" of meat or
fish. When I indulge in steaks (rarely), I'll bump that to 8 oz., or even
12 oz. if I _really_ want the meat to dominate the meal. Your mention of
"fast food" seems odd in this context, as that is one area where there is
competition in regards to massive overkill on the meat weight -- cf. the
current Burger King vs. McDonalds adds for double cheeseburgers. (Yech!)

Each package contains 2 tenderloins. Not sure how you'd get 5.
You probably have 10 tenderloins. Have you opened a package?

I bought one that size at the local evil family owned market maybe two
weeks ago for around $12.
