Walmart's "Great Value" EVOO
There was an article out a few months ago that claimed that Walmart's
and Costco's EVOO scored the highest according to scientific quality
tests.
Well, either those tests are no indication of flavor (they should be),
or Walmart changed it's supplier since then. Because this EVOO is
bottom of the barrel stuff - right down there next to Crisco
Shortening.
I knew I should have stuck with my preferred single-variety oil, made
from Califonia Arbosana olives for $2.50 more a half liter (Walmart's
was $5.50). Or CostCo's Tuscan for $12 or $13/liter.

I've been using Walmart's Great Value EVOO, 102 ounces/~$15...
excellent.

Excellent lube, maybe.
Almost a gallon of EVOO for $15? Yea, it must be really good!
