VOT: Atlantic City: Beach Boardwalk Beggars???
VOT: Atlantic City: Beach Boardwalk Beggars???
From today's morning TV news...
Atlantic City, NJ, USA instituted a "Beggar License" that beggars have
to buy to be allowed to beg for money on the boardwalk in front of the
casinos.
Doesn't that wreak just a little of CORRUPTION???
It's not just a casino gaming destination anymore!
NJ's governor will hold a press conference later today with his plan to
wrestle power from the city and place it in state hands, as a
revitalization/anti-corruption plan. Yeah, right!!!
For those not familiar, walk a block or two off the "glowing" casino
beach boardwalk and you're in the slums that most of Atlantic City is
made up of, to this day, since before "The Resorts" hotel & casino
opened it's doors in 1976.
I'm thinking about driving over to buy a beggars license while they're
still in vogue!
I'll rightfully and finally be the "complete" BUM!!!
