Default Time for Another Fun Look at...

The Mock Apple Pie thread (and subsequent degeneration into apples vs. Ritz
Crackers, what year?) reminded me of this hilarious website:

    The Gallery of Regrettable Food

    http://lileks.com/institute/gallery/

For Pico: Don't get in a snit... it's not a video. It's a link to photos
of old cookcook covers/pages and magazine print ads (some with recipes!) for
things people thought were just grrrreaaat! in the 1950's. It's hilarious!

I recognized quite a few in the 7-Up category, but I was disappointed
not to find a 7-Up marinade. Basting ham with 7-Up was as close as it
    got.

All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.

I love that! I got a copy of his book on sale but have no idea
where it is. Should be in the 50s (or so) food section.

Along these same lines, how about these Weight Watcher's recipes circa 1974:
