Thanksgiving is a festival to give thanks that I don't *need* to eat
pasta, good tho' it is in its place.

In this end of Kentucky, "macaroni and cheese" is a common answer to
"What are you having with the turkey, dressing, and gravy?"
I've never understood it. Mac & cheese, topped with homemade croutons
and baked, is made about every other week, nothing special.
