That's cheap for delivered refrigerated food.

I've no idea of the quantity of food but if it feeds four then it's a
big bargain... at most any Q joint a full slab of ribs will be like
$25, an 8" cheesecake at any NYC bakery will cost like $20, a full
size (16") deep dish pizza in Chi Town with toppings can easily cost
$30, in NYC one dawg from the Sabrett vender will cost at least $3. If
you ordered all that at an average tavern type joint it'd easy cost
double that price, it's only $95 because it doesn't include as much
overhead; premises and service. Heck, one (1) friggin' Happy Meal at
the Clown's joint costs $10! When was the last time you shopped for
food/anything? Right now I'm looking at the recent Chinese take out
menu from Gum How Kitchen in Port Washington, NY... one small ribs
appetizer is $6.35, like four small ribs... ordering for four at any
Chinese take out you'd be very lucky to pay less than $100... and an
hour after yoose eat you'll be hungry! LOL

DoucheBagBrush needs to change handles to CheapBastard. hehe

The same items from Schwann's that contains 2.5x more food by weight
    costs $53.90 delivered.

It's amusing watching one dumbass stand up for another. Can we get
    Gregory in on this, too?

    Sheldon,

To enjoy Sabrett hot dogs at a sidewalk hot dog stand right outside of
Pennsylvania Station in NYC from PHL, Amtrak wants $94 roundtrip.

At that rate, I'd be more inclined to dine at Katz's Deli in the lower
East side somewhere, for a corned beef or pastrami (undecided) on rye
w/mustard, maybe w/Swiss and a potato knish and a yoo-hoo or egg cream!

For the price of admission, I might as well make it worth my while!!! Ya
    think?

    Best,

    Andy

No, it doesn't. I refuse to believe that it's anywhere near that,
even in NYC. Any NYers who are not compulsive liars like to weigh in
on that? The only times I ever bought them were when one of the local
McD's had them on special for $1.99. My son threw away the stupid
toy, but it was essentially getting a free soda.

Giving your kid credit for tossing out a McD toy is sheer assholism!

You call yourself a food snob? HA!!!

    Larry,

    Right!

The order actually comes with cooking instructions!

Being as anal as I can tend to be, I'll follow them.

"Taste of Chicago" finally arrived at about 5:00pm today.

Trouble is I BBQ'd a flank steak early this morning and nibbled it some
more for lunch. So I'm finished eating for the day.

I just unpacked everything and put it in the freezer, except the Eli's
cheesecake. That's got good rainy day Saturday potential.

I'll read the recipe guide and figure out meal priorities tomorrow.
