Supermarket shopping OOPS.
Supermarket shopping OOPS.
I got everything I needed at the supermarket. Had the shopping list (iPhone)
in hand the whole time. Got everything on the list.
Got home and put everything away. Left the hot dog buns on the counter.
I decided to have a couple of hot dogs, but DUH!!!, I was out of hot dogs!!!
A MINOR inventory oversight!?! LOL!!! Like shopping for chocolate chip
ingredients and forgetting the chocolate chips.
You?

You're not paying careful attention... I don't make fun of commercial
sausage (tube steak is sausage, so is Spam), just previously ground fresh
meat. Commercial sausage is very consistant by brand, I've never yet found
a can of Spam that was different quality or inferior quality from year to
year to year from since I was a kid... Spam has been sold all over the world
for a very long time, I don't ever remember a recall. But I grind all my
own fresh meat, make all my own fresh sausage too... don't have to stuff
casings, I rarely do, sausage patties are good too, in fact I prefer
breakfast sausage patties to links, and I make 'fresh 'talian sausage in
patty and meata balles form. My problem is with the ground fresh meat,
there is zero quality control... you never know what/who you're getting and
how fresh. Even the best quality cold cuts from the deli are iffy because
you never know if they've been kept properly refrigerated and/or how clean
the environment... and that's why I prefer cured meats like Spam, it's
sealed in a can and requires no refrigeration. I consider Spam as safe as
any canned foods, as consistantly safe as a can of Heinz porn and beans or a
can of tuna. I happen to like vienna sausage too. And I enjoy all canned
fish; sardines, anchovy, kipper snacks, salmon, mackrel, smoked oysters are
lovely, I like them all and they're all safe. But store bought fresh ground
meat is always potentially toxic.

I never worry about diets. The only carrots that

Which just goes to show ya no matter how fabulous your cell phone is,
you're gonna forget something.

Huh? If you're shopping for "chocolate chip ingredients" why do you need
chocolate chips?
<unless *you* make chips from chips, and in that case... oh never mind,
I'll just ask MY phone what to do>

Have no hot dog rolls. Just finished stowing managable sized packets
from the 5# package we bought on sale the other week, so we won't be
running out any time soon!
