Do you know what it's like to be in a really miserable place for twelve
years, unable to leave because your family needs you, then your kid's in
the last years of high school and doesn't want to change, then you can't
get the wherewithal together to leave because your jobs been axed and
your income went with it, and disability is eating you alive and the
climate you live in is so polluted that it exacerbates your disability
all the time and you're forced to live on daily steroids and
anti-inflammatory and bronchodilator treatments around the clock? Do you
know what that's like? Where whenever the wind blows it carries the dry
dusty local terrain right into our lungs? Where during the winter,
inversion holds a cloud of noxious pudding close to the ground for
everyone to breathe, and during the summer high temperatures cook up
enough ground level ozone to put me into respiratory failure in the
course of a single afternoon? Do you have any idea what this is like?

And by the way, you don't have to wait until "1 A.M." to watch your
precious game. The time difference between PA and CA is only three
hours, so you wait until 1 PM, dildo brain.

That's another thing that wrong with the West, too. Everything on TV
starts at 8 AM, commutes to work start at 4:30 AM and the day is over
with everybody a-bed by 9 PM. What fraggin' deathly BORING people these are!

On the whole, I rather be in Philadelphia!!

I just watched a movie on cable called "Big Fan"; the plot centers on
a fued between a NY Giants fan and any a Philly Eagles fan.

An interesting twist or two, but insightful into east coast football
mentality.
