Soap Digest for RFC
Can anyone tell me where I can look at an issue of the Soap Digest for all
the players, characters, and plots for RFC? I'm a newbie, plus, I've been
out of town for vacation. Apparently, someone or something died or has been
ill recently. Or maybe it's just a developing smell among the contestants
at this stage of Survival. The usual list of suspects is fighting again,
and Wally and the Beaver just haven't been themselves since Ward found that
"crab removal tool" under The Beaver's bed.
Perhaps one could take the time to just shortly outline the main characters
and plots.
In other groups I'm in, people just skip threads by looking at the titles,
or kill file idiots who are known perverts or just maladjusted. Then there
are the intellectual giants who can just SEE the subject line: SEX WITH
GOATS PICS and know to skip right over that.
Thanks for the help.

Steve,
I laughed too at your post, but just to be clear, somebody DID die.
Long time poster Christy Tipton (aka kilikini) died a couple of days
ago of liver cancer and complications, Her husband Allen was also a
longtime poster.
Christy had many many friends on rfc. Some had been at her wedding,
some of us who were never lucky enough to meet her had email
exchanges with her. She was long on humor, high on generosity, and
extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Christy's husband and a friend or two kept us posted daily on her
condition. Some of us felt like we were in her room holding her
hand. Most of us prayed according to our own traditions and beliefs -
or lack of them.
I'm sorry if you never got to "meet" kili. She was an incredibly
beautiful young woman - inside and out.

If you stick around for a while, you can decide for yourself. DId you
jump into your other groups with both feet, asking for CVs and recaps?
If you came just looking for recipes, there may be better places to
look. If you like big, noisy parties with 100 people talking about 100
different topics and frequent squabbles popping up, this may be the
place for you.
Read the group for a while (or not) and remember, TINC.
