    There was an earlier band called The Heartbreakers. Johnny and Jerry
    from the NY Dolls. My wife and I saw Thunders on our wedding might in
    '86.

    I find more inspiration from the words attributed to Jesus than those
    uttered by Johnny Cash, and I'm sure that Cash felt the same way.
    Cash was a sincere Christian, and he cared deeply about the
    impoverished and imprisoned. I am merely a fan of Jesus, but Johnny
    Cash was a *follower* of Jesus, a disciple. It's folks like him--and
    so many Christians who are loving, compassionate and non-judgmental--
    that make a non-believer like me admire Christianity.

    it's about but that don't matter much. Her music hits you at a
    subconscious level and it does this without a catchy chorus or any
    guitar, bass, or drums. How is that trite? I'm guessing you're confusing
    it with pop music.
