REQUEST: Cachapas Venezolanas
Anyone have a recipe for cachapas venezolanas, corn pancakes. I would
like one that someone has actually made, along with any comments. I've
seen recipes for them that involved creamed corn ‹ which just seems odd
to me, but I am in no place to challenge it.

Mind you, I'd never heard of them before but Google does bring up a lot
of information.

Ditto on the creamed corn. A local Mexican restaurant serves a delicious
breakfast in a mock Benedict form, which is a sweet corn cake, topped with
an egg, cotija cheese, and poblano cream sauce. No whole corn is present in
the corn cakes and I also would like a recipe sans creamed corn.
