Recall notice for Paula Deen cast-iron

Paula Deen 11" cast-iron grill pans and griddles sold through QVC and
it's retail stores between 10/07 ajnd 7/09 for $35-55. There have
been 79 report of cookware cracking or shattering while heating.

QVC item numbers K14984, K 11970, and K135024

Stop using the pans and return to any QVC store for a full refund or
call QVC at 800-367-9444 or go to www.qvc.com for more details.

How did you hear about this? Notice from QVC?

Shattering cast iron? That's what's also known as a HAND GRENADE,
if I'm not mistaken.

though it is still Nov. 2009) of Consumer Reports.

They appear to be made in Hong Kong. Close enough.
