Years ago I used to get these from a grocery store and I just loved
them. I don't have a sweet tooth but I could eat half a cake myself.
Entenmann’s makes one similar but not as good and I'm not going to pay
their prices. I've done a lot of googling and there are so many
different recipes I'm confused due to lack of baking experience. Some
have butter, some lard. I only have butter. They all seem to have
brown sugar in the glaze but the ones I liked didn't. I guess I could
just omit the brown sugar? Anyway if someone has a tried and true
recipe I'd really appreciate it.
