I keep most of that stuff all of the time but there is some stuff we'd never
eat. Like the salmon, some fruits, gel (gelatin?), almonds or pudding.
We're not really big on cereal either. But we do keep that which we will
    eat.

But for me, mostly all I need is beans. All kinds of beans. I can live off
of those things. Toss in some corn chips and I'm good. Maybe even a little
    salsa.

Daughter and husband also like Vienna sausage.

When we were without power in NY for about a week, we lived in canned green
beans, canned dried beans of all kinds, some nuts, beef jerky, and that's
about it. It was just so swelteringly hot that we didn't feel like eating
much. I'd open a can of something and we'd split it three ways.

    Beans, beans the musical fruit.
The more you eat the more you toot.
the more you toot the better you feel,
so let's have beans for every meal!!

Yes, when you're trapped in the house because of weather, let's make sure
that everyone has to smell each other's bean farts. Maybe they should
also suggest boxes of frozen White Castles.
