    This is one of those instances where "kill subthread" would come in
    handy.

    Hey, I tried once to change the subject line but it auto-bolted back to the
    original.

    That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

    It's being forced to watch you try to win that makes the rest of us want to
    impale you on a recycled elm stake. First Blake went all circle the wagons
    and now you. It may amuse you two, but it's got the rest of us thinking you
    should spend some time in a KF while you get your manhood back from this
    adolescent phase.

    Actually if you had been paying attention you would know that I KF'd Pete a
    couple days ago and others are carrying on. The subject had already moved on
    to subject lines. The post you replied to was intended to be humorous, as
    evidenced by the <ducking> ending.
