Popcorn
I have eaten tons of the stuff over the years and never noticed much
difference in flavor. Up until now, my favorites have been whatever organic
stuff they sold at my health food store for its excellent popping ability.
Sadly, that store closed. The owner is selling some stuff out of her house
now but I don't think she has popcorn. I have also gotten some Amish type
stuff like the black kind. Can't remember the exact name. It was good.
More recently I've been buying the Orville Redenbacher from Costco. Cheap,
large kernels, little to no old maids but sadly I think, GMO.
Then I placed an order online from Swanson vitamins. They now offer some
gluten free and organic foods. I ordered a package of Arrowhead Mills
organic yellow popcorn and OMG!!!! This stuff has flavor that it out of
this world! All other popcorn seems to pale in comparison except perhaps
for whatever they make at Target. That stuff is excellent. But I will for
sure get more of this Arrowhead Mills! And I sure won't want to eat the
rest of my Orville that is in the cupboard.

I love popcorn but haven't eaten any for decades. I have diverticulosis
and my DO told me no popcorn, seeds, etc. Since then I've read that this
is true and also that this ban is just nonsense.
Opinions?

My dad has that and eats it sometimes. And sometimes he suffers.

I'm firmly convinced it was popcorn that landed me in the hospital for a
week with a massive infection. I hadn't eaten popcorn in years. My
mother ate popcorn every night and she insisted I share some with her.
Big mistake. I'll never eat it again.

We have gotten that at Whole Foods for quite a while. (Actually,
most recently, my daughter has been eating "Black Cat" (IIRC), and
she likes that better.)

Wow! I can't imagine anything better than this! I will for sure have to
look for that.
