PING BECCA
Fall foliage... it's been pouring all day but at 5 PM for a brief
moment the sun came out.
Kentucky coffee tree in gold... foreground is one of my gingkos, will
soon turn lurid lemon yellow:

That's a dawn redwood fenced.

I almost forgot to mention, Sheldon.... that picture is *really* nice.
It's like poster or postcard quality.
I had to look up "dawn redwood" and that's cool to have too.
I can see why you have it fenced in now until it grows larger. To keep the
deer from munching on the tips?

Absolutely beautiful, I was wondering how pretty the trees must be
looking, on your property. We went to the dentist in Mexico, and I was
not online, it was such a treat to find these photos when I came home.
Just lovely. If it gets cold enough, here, the leaves turn brown and
fall, which is not very pretty at all.

Re: PING BECCA
We returned yesterday from NH & Boston after being treated to beautiful foliage, and a flock of turkeys ambling thru my daughters yard. No chance to get a camera, they spook easily.
Thank you for all the lovely pictures you post. How blessed you are to have such a view and lovely animals to watch.

We had turkeys in our yard once.....our Jack Russell reminded them how to fly and perch in trees, while the greyhound spooked when he was gobbled at!!

You need to visit New England this time of year, perhaps you should
move here.
