OT: While you were out: Elec. Co.
OT: While you were out: Elec. Co.
A week ago I come home from somewhere and a metal vertical conduit to my
inside electric meter had been installed without permission. It's the
electric co's convenience measure so they don't have to open the shed to
get a reading. A point and click from the street wireless thing.
So, OK... every other utility has done that but... the conduit stuck out
in contrast to the color of my house paint. Pissed me off!
Then, just today, while I was out again, I came back home and the
conduit had been carefully painted to match the house paint color.

Wow! I haven't heard a story like that before.

sf,
Yeah, it was quite unexpected. I didn't think they'd have done that. I'm
usually pretty good about before and after photographs but for some
reason, it didn't sound a photo opportunity alarm.
Best,

He possibly meant the "Meter Box".
Maybe he lives in a meter box? That'd be a new twist and would make for
interesting cooking attempts.
