One of life's little moments when panic mode sets in eh? Scared you
might not do it right? Do you get sweaty palms and suffer from nervous
prostration? Time to get a neighbor to assist in this momentous task
lest you be completely traumatized by the whole experience.

Then put your clocks on standard time and leave them there.
Or UTC if you're smart enough to cope with that. 8

I don't mind DST, it's the damn changes they keep making. I was ready
to change my clocks two weeks ago. Used to be they changed on Oct
15. Sonsabitches keep make it later and later every few years.

I only have to reset the clock on my stove and microwave, all others
reset themselves.

My driveway is coarse gravel and my forks have 4 tines. So what?
Got any more pointless blather you want to regal us with?

It's just bloody annoying. 10 clocks to set, plus one that has to be
reset _four_ times because it's programmed to adjust for daylight time
on the _old_ dates. Woops, make that 12, I forgot about the ones in the
car and the motorcycle.
Every legislator who votes for daylight time should be required by law
to set all his own damned clocks. Congresscritters are big on making
busy-work for other people.

Julie,
I think what pisses me off most is having to remember how to reason with
my digital watch programming.
I don't much care what time it is, ordinarily, give or take some
sunshine.
It's now 23:20.
Best,

I like the other one. Of course, I'm in the eastern part of the time zone
and I'd rather have my dark commute in the AM rather than the PM. This week
is was not getting light until about 7 AM but my drive home easier. If I
had my way, I'd move the clock ahead and just leave it there year round.
There have been movements to put New England in the Atlantic Time zone.
That would be OK with me too.

So we can fill up footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, volleyballs,
inflatable mattresses, those "kiddie" pools, etc. etc.
And in your case, your inflatable girlfriend.
