The Stanley Cup makes a visit to the hometown of every player on the
team, and there are a lot more Canadians playing for Boston than for
Vancouver.

It wasn`t so much the hockey fans that went on a rampage. It was mainly
the disenfranchised dorks who are always looking for excuses to riot and
loot, white guys with dreadlocks and wearing hemp clothing.

That part about dorky white guys with dreadlocks is just plain weird
(white Rastafarians?). Maybe they're the college boys who moved to
Canada to escape the draft way back when. And what's so bad about
hemp clothing? It's the cool thing to be wearing these days and you
need some serious cash to do it right.

They all wanna become rafting guides for the Summer. My neck of the
woods is lousy with dreadlock bedecked blonde kids. So many, in fact,
there's gotta be an off-the-shelf dreadlock perm or something. It's
Jheri Curl all over again. :|

I wonder just how many guys of the age to have escaped the draft have
enough hair left to perm. And enough energy to riot, too.

Pretty sad commentary on the state of the alleged sports fan. Not just
Vancouver, but it has been happening in many cities after the team wins or
loses. I'm sure most of it is just overuse of alcohol, but it is still a
setback of evolution and civility.

Wouldn't those college boys be in their sixties now? And mostly bald?
The draft flight to Canada was a LONG time ago.
