OT: Prescription refill misdirected Careless/cause for
    concern?

I dialed up the doc this mooring for refills on my blood
    pressure mode.

I told Christina to refill it at Walmart.

Here's were it struck me as strange. After shopping I had two
messages on the answering machine. One was an automated
"prescription ready" from Walmart. The second was from a CVS .
I called CVS and inquired what the prescription was? Asked or
my birth date he replied Diovan.

I thought, how the heck did today's refill request get to two
different pharmacies. So... I called my doc and asked how can
that happen. I'm in the records as Walmart. Christina admitted
the error but not the blame. She gave me some explanation I
didn't have the patience to grasp.

That seemed to me like a potentially dangerous error. Could've
been Percoset double prescribed, with five refills.

Diovan is uniquely shaped and color tinted so there's no
    mistaking a wrong drug.

Does this bother just me? It certainly was a careless mistake
    imho.

    Yes? No? Maybe?

please take all of the pills from both refills at once, and down it with
    your tankard of vodka.

Dude, post sober next time and we'll help. This was painful to read and I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about. I think I get the gist, but I'm not sure.

Mistakes are made all the time in type and dosage and contraindications.
That's the breaks. You better know about the drugs you take cause
mostly, the supply chain is pretty sketchy.

I just made the stupid mistake of trying to switch over to the mail order
pharmacy to save money. I could now write a novel on stupid prescription
stuff gone wrong. But I won't. Let's just say that if I ever do get my one
insulin straightened out, I am going back to the place around the corner
even though it will cost me more. They did make a mistake yesterday. But
they corrected it right away and they are the ones who noticed the mistake
and made the correction. The mail order place is clueless. Worse still, I
looked up complaints against them and read stories even worse than mine!

In my case it is not just the pharmacy making mistakes but the Drs.
assistant. And the last assistant he had is no longer there, presumably due
to the constant mistakes *she* was making. I am beyond angry at this point.
I am just kind of to the point of laughing like a loon because so much has
gone wrong. And there is really nothing I can do but call and call and call
because these people are so far away.
