I know some people who travel around with two cats on a sailboat. My cat
(Persia, an American shorthair) stays as far away from water as possible.

As would mine. He's one of the ones with very long hair. He takes
delight in making me clean up his hair! I could stuff a pillow with
what comes out of him in a week!
