    Wish I knew the metric system better, but I can tell it's quite a bit.
    We are having issues here in the Seattle area also.

    I don't know why they bother using millimeters in OZ. I guess it sounds
    more impressive than in centimeters. There are about 2 1/2 centimeters
    to an inch (25.4 millimeters exactly) or 5cm is 2 inches and that's all
    you really need to know.

    Thanks for the translation- I was too lazy to do the math. We are not
    getting nearly as much as you, but with the recent snow, there is a
    lot of run off.
    Regardless of the weather, Puget Sound is a beautiful area- in the
    summer!
