    Default Need soda siphon advice.

    Hi everybody:

I'm kicking around the idea of doing my own fizzy water and the last post I
could find here was from 2003. I have a couple of questions:

The ISI soda siphon seems to be pretty standard. Does anyone know how long
the fizz lasts? (i.e. If I don't drink it all in one sitting, will it still
    be fizzy a week later?)

Also, what about using liquids other than water? I'm thinking it would be
cool to pre-make fizzy vodka drinks and leave the soda siphon in my fridge
and enjoy them at my leisure. (Hell, done this way, you could probably do
away with the glass. Sort of a direct alcohol injection...)

    Hasta,
    Curt Nelson

They didn't work well for me and it was very expensive to operate. I gave
up using it for soda water and now I just use it for dispensing nitrous oxide.

I'm seriously considering getting this machine:

    It's a review, not a manufacturer's website.
