All three above, and canned any kind of greens, spinach, mustard,
turnip, etc.

Some things just shouldn't be canned. Imagine canned broccoli.

Everything has a purpose. If I want asparagus, I buy fresh only.
But canned asparagus is just the thing for scrambled eggs &
asparagus. Cut asparagus into 1" long pieces throw in fry pan
with butter, brown a little then add 2 scrambled eggs. Tasty
breakfast...

Seconded.
Only because I've never encountered canned okra.

Definitely... Peas and spinach. Neither are anything like the the fresh

Down on the farm we'd sit just outside the mainhouse kitchen door in the
late afternoon and shuck fresh picked pea pods for dinner.
Now (v-8 headslap!), I know why I like pea soup and peas in my mashed
potatoes! :9

I have never had canned spinach, but I can't imagine it being anything
but vile. Even fresh cooked spinach has little appeal to me. Peas,
OTOH..... I can handle fresh peas. IMO, canned peas tastes more like
fresh than do frozen peas, but the texture sucks.
