He lectures as well as he writes. I loved The Omnivore's Dilemma and am
looking forward to reading In Defense of Food.

Two summers ago we spent a few hours at an organic dairy farm (in Sweden
on the island of Gotland) where cheese is their main product and the
farmer was very familiar with Pollan's work and theories.
