Prolly just scrambled eggs, but sniffin the corned beef in the smoker
is almost enough!!. Should be done by dinnertime. First one hubby
did we learned a good lesson. It will take almost as long as a packer
cut brisket, even tho it is much smaller. Got done about 10 pm.
Started this one much earlier, for it to go 8 hours like the last one.
MMMMMmmmmm, it's going to be so good!!

Lin and I went out for brunch. She had:

Rhubarb Brown Butter Cakes with sweetened butter and in-house Orange
Marmalade
Grilled Hanger Steak with Poached Egg, Steak Fries, and Bearnaise Sauce
Coffee Affogato, Vanilla Gelato, and Almond Biscotti


I had:

Delta Asparagus, Grilled Country Bread, Romesco Sauce, and Fried Quail Egg
Huevos Rancheros: Sunny-Side-Up Eggs, Charred Salsa, and Avocado (on
nicely-fried corn tortillas)
Lavender Creme Brulee with Lemon Shortbread

Lin opted for the "endless" mimosas; I stuck to coffee.
