Mac and Cheese ... again
Felt like some quick comfort food so I made whole wheat elbows (you cannot
tell these from regular, I swear it) drained and tossed back in the warm pot
with milk, two cans of drained tuna, some very finely chopped onion, lots of
shredded cheddar, and salt and pepper. I stirred it a bit then covered and
turned off the heat. It was creamy and nice. I sprinkled it with a little
dried parmesan and diced red, ripe raw tomatoes.
Not my mama's mac and cheese, but very nice. The onion adds a good flavor
and texture element, and the tomatoes a nice, sweet contrast.

Sounds good. I prefer whole wheat pasta to regular ever since I tried it.
