JD sausage
I wuz looking for stuff on Jimmy Dean sausage ingredients and ran
across this:
<http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/72a7751675/jimmy-dean-sausage-complaint>
I didn't notice the size, but I sure notice the texture, which comes
off like sawdust or sand or some other granular substance. Certainly
not like the JD sausage I remember as a young pup.
Also, kinda like the above website. Some funny stuff. Saw this and
laughed so hard I almost choked on my granular JD sausage pattie:

Pretty funny! I'm pretty sure the only JD sausage sold here in less than 1
lb is the reduced fat variety.
As far as texture you must have gotten a bad batch or maybe it was frozen
for a couple years? The Jimmy Dean sausage I buy here has never disappointed
me, and the texture is just fine.
However Johnsonville chub sausage was on sale here last week for two bucks
so I tried it, and I have to say it's really good, well seasoned and nicely
lean. Good for sausage gravy as well as patties.

This guy eats t-bones, fried eggs, and Jimmy dean sausage for
breakfast?
They probably won't have to worry about him being a customer much
longer anyway.
Everything I can find online says it's still 16oz except for the
"lite" sausage. But since it is Sara Lee, I don't put anything past
them. Sara Lee is notorious for this kind of crap and cutting corners
wherever possible.
ObFood: There's a lady on FoxTV News reporting on the rolling
blackouts in Central Texas urging us to conserve electricity by
turning off our TV's.
Duh.

Do you collect ISP addresses on everyone? Anyway, it's not like I
have to explain myself. I'm one of the great ones.

I always thought JD sausage was a poor, very poor excuse for sausage.
I haven't bought any for many years and intend to keep it that way.
