I'm moving to Nebraska
I've had my fill of Iowa. Everytime I go up to the state
Capitol in Raleigh, I run out of carbonated beverages. Maybe
I'll just bring some extra along next time. Besides, Iowa is
sweltering this time of year.

Amazing they put the Capitol so far south into North Carolina.
My sympathies, sorta.

Buy a clue! Anne Onime keeps posting because rfc regulars keep
replying.
My hat is off to the troll: you've got them hooked and with every new
post, they keep biting.

And "Anne Onime" is the name "Norman Nesco" or whatever uses when they
post through through this anonymous posting service: From: Anne Onime
<[email protected]>
"Norman Nesco" started a thread in another group and then forgot and
kept responding as the anonymous "Anne Onime"

Usenet has some "colorful" folks. I read another group and an off the
wall person who calls himself Tibetan monkey brains or something posts
goofball post after post and someone will always respond meaning they
will never go away.

Yeah, Norman is another one I have filtered.

Nomen Nescio
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nomen_nescio
"Nomen nescio, abbreviated to N.N., is used to signify an anonymous or
non-specific person. From Latin nomen, name, and nescire, not to know,
be ignorant of. Together, I do not know the name."
When you read a post from an anonymous reposter in one place, and then
another place, it isn't wise to assume they are the same person. Both
are just anonymous reposting services, and they can be used by anybody.

and deserve to be kill filed just from the anonymous reposting
services POV.

Yeah- but have you ever read anything of value from *any* of the
cutesy 'I ain't telling who I am' twits?
I know this is a cooking group- but I can't remember ever reading a
newsgroup that fed its trolls so well. Just an observation, as I'm a
newbie here but I've been wandering around Usenet for 15 years or so.

Like you posted (and I snipped), this is a food group. Why would any
legitimate poster need to hide their identity, more than just making up
a fake name? If one was posting about illegal drugs or illegal sex, it
might be wise to hide your identity, as even if what you post is legal
where you live, some overzealous LEO might get a court order to find
your identity and hassle you, trying to find out information about
things that are illegal in their jurisdiction.

Moving from Iowa to Nebraska is the ultimate lateral move. That part
of the country is so flat that you could see Colorado and Wyoming from
Iowa if Iowa had any hills to stand on. Come to think of it, if Iowa
had any hills, somebody probably would have planted corn on them.
