    Default Hurricane cooking II

That's two for you who didn't do Roman numerals. We have Isaac sitting on
us for maybe 36 more hours. All is well . . . but the bonus was the turkey
I wanted to cook instead of toss from a freezer with no electricity.
The cranky elderly dog who's sheltering here has quite overcome his
suspicions about strangers. All you have to do is have a few bites of big
    bird.
For the dieter who's also here for shelter, I'd done popcorn with
powdered cheese. Minimal fat/calories and super great for anxious need to
eat something. It's good stuff. Thank you to the poster who suggested
    powdered cheese and the source.
I'll probably be serving banana nut bread, sausage balls and hot coffee
for breakfast if the power is out. IF I can cook, I will. If not, all is
    well. Polly

I hope all is still well for you. It's strange to see what looks like a
hurricane in the middle of the country right now. I can only hope it's
just a lot of rain that they need from the drought.
